HiDock overview
HiDock is an app that lets you set different Dock settings for different display configurations.
I've built this because I wanted to have the Dock slightly bigger and always visible when I'm on my big external display, but smaller and hidden when on my laptop.
Note: While the software is classified as free, it is actually donationware. Please consider making a donation to help support development.
What’s new in version 1.4
- Fixes an issue where sometimes HiDock would hide the Dock, but macOS would still act as it was there (like when maximizing a window).
- Fixes an annoying bug where the Dock icon would be visible, even with no windows — in fact, I was so annoyed by it I removed the Dock icon completely. You can access the preference window by either clicking on the Menu Bar icon, or "launching" the app.
- Improved compatibility with macOS Sequoia.
- Improved reliability and performance.
